Henan Province adds new members to its special and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises

Recently, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the second batch of Henan Province's specialized, refined, and new small and medium-sized enterprises to be recognized and reviewed in 2024. 48 companies including Henan Xuji Power Electronics Co., Ltd. in Xuchang City were selected for the list of companies to be recognized, ranking fifth in the province; Changge Fuxing Auto Parts Co., Ltd. was selected for the list of companies to be reviewed.

Specialized, refined, and new small and medium-sized enterprises refer to small and medium-sized enterprises that meet national and provincial industrial policies and relevant requirements, have the development characteristics of "specialization, refinement, characteristics, and innovation", focus on niche markets for a long time, have strong innovation capabilities, and have outstanding supporting capabilities. Enterprises recognized as provincial specialized, refined, and new small and medium-sized enterprises can enjoy policy support in terms of land, talents, funds, and technology.

In recent years, our city has deeply implemented the innovation-driven development strategy, guided small and medium-sized enterprises to focus on their main business, work hard, and unswervingly follow the path of specialized, refined, and new development; according to the gradient cultivation model, a group of enterprises with strong innovation capabilities and excellent quality and efficiency are selected for follow-up guidance and targeted cultivation, and continue to promote the continuous growth of specialized, refined, and new small and medium-sized enterprises. At present, our city has cultivated a total of 909 innovative SMEs, 212 provincial-level specialized and new SMEs, and 21 national-level specialized and new "little giant" enterprises, ranking first in the province.

In the next step, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology will continue to improve and optimize the gradient cultivation system of SMEs, expand the coverage of specialized and new SMEs, and establish a reserve pool in accordance with the principle of "reserve a batch, cultivate a batch, and upgrade a batch", and refine the cultivation measures in layers and grades to continuously improve the innovation ability and professional level of SMEs in our city.
